Devy Turned 3 Jan 23! I can't believe my baby is 3! Here are some pictures of her eating cake and wearing her fun birthday cake hat with 3 candles on it. She was extremely confused opening presents. Every time she opened one I would tell her who it was from...and she thought that she had to give it back to them...so she'd open a present and I'd say "Dev, that was from Grandpa, what do you say?" and she'd pick up the present and take it to Grandpa and hand it to him. We kept telling her "No, it's yours Dev!" and she'd say "Why?" and We'd tell her it's her birthday and she'd say "Why?" It was too cute!
Here she is in front of our measuring board! My sister and I came up with this idea one year and thought it was BRILLIANT! We remember haing a wall at Grandma and Grandpas where they'd mark our height each year...well they just sold that house and we had to paint over all the marks :-( So Deija and I bought some boards, painted them and put marks ever foot and thought we could take their picture on their birthday every year, schlack (sp?) it on and watch how they grow
from year to year! Deija even thought about painting their hands and having them stamp their hands on it too...well I dunno about her but, all I've done is take their picture in front of it...that's it...I have good intentions right?!?
